My name is Melvin Banks and I thank you for visiting my site. My State Farm Agency was started in 2002 and is located at 104 Connecticut Blvd, East Hartford CT. It has been a pleasure and an honor to serve my community. I sincerely value the relationships I have established over the years and look forward to building many more.

Some of my experiences that has helped me better serve my customers is found in my previous years as a State Farm claims representative. For nearly 10 years I helped customers recover from the misfortunes of unexpected claims and losses. As an agent I take pride in using my experiences to help customers better prepare and feel more secure during these uncertain times.

I also attribute my experience in the military as another influencing factor in who I am today as an agent. I served in the Army Reserve as a Lieutenant Colonel and left my agency for 18 months when I was called to deploy to Iraq. My mission was not only to serve my country but also make sure the customers I served as a State Farm agent were taken care of seamlessly. Not only was this accomplished, but the relationships built were like family. That is why I truly love being a State Farm Agent and will continue to help customers manage the risks of everyday life, recover from the unexpected, and realize their dreams.
